The Bauer Media Audio UK news team has won an incredible seven golds at the Commercial Radio News Awards聽鈥� more top awards than ever before!

The ceremony is held every year at Sky News headquarters in Osterley, London and celebrates the very best in commercial radio news.

There are 12 awards open to commercial news teams across the UK, which means the Bauer news team won in more than half of all categories.

It was a remarkable 鈥渉at trick鈥� for聽Micky Welch, who has won聽Regional Newsreader of the Year聽for the third year in a row.

Aileen O鈥橲ullivan聽was named聽National聽Newsreader of the Year聽– for the second time in three years – for her standout work on KISS morning bulletins.

Clyde 1聽took the聽Best Sport Coverage聽award for 鈥淪cotland鈥檚 Greatest Night鈥�, celebrating the men鈥檚 football team鈥檚 achievement聽getting聽to the World Cup finals.

Molly Tulett, the reporter who scored millions of views on socials with her coverage of the recent Glasgow fire, was named Newcomer of the Year.
